Milton Darnell Hill Sr., affectionately known as 'Rock Steady' gained his wings after a courageous fight with multiple myeloma on September 9, 2022.  The youngest of four sons, he was born to the late Joseph Hill Sr. and Thelma (Hill) Walker on March 1, 1948.  He is preceded in death by both parents, brother Thomas L. Hill and a host of several other relatives.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife Brenda Washington Hill, son Antoine Washington, daughter Tameka Stephens (Lamont), son and devoted care giver Milton Hill Jr (Brenora), grandsons Juwan Washington, Breyon Hill and Maxwell Stephens; his best girl and granddaughter Tamryn Hill; great-grandson Cadence Washington; two brothers Joseph Hill Sr and Robert (Bobby) Hill; a bonus sister Jenell Clark; sister in laws Mildred Stewart, Estelle Hunter, Lillian Johnson, Thelma Owens, Wilhelmina Hill and Betty Buggs; brother in law John Washington; three aunts Evelyn Houston, Helen Redd and Gloria Woolard; granddogs Tank Hill, Remy and Zoey Stephens and Riley Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins family and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00am Saturday September 17 at Wesley Grove UCC 2308 Roanoke Ave Newport News. Interment will follow at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
