Chesapeake - Odessa Privott Brinkley, 93, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at home surrounded by family.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Leroy Brinkley; sons, Trafton and Quentin (Lillian) Brinkley; sister, Ruth Overton; grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, from 3-7 pm on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. A funeral service will be held at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Chesapeake at 10 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 with burial following at Beaver Hill Cemetery in Edenton, NC.
