On Saturday, January 17, 2022, our beloved Ora Mae Brickhouse McPherson departed this earthly life for Heaven's Golden Palace.

Ora Mae was preceded in death by her late husband's Alfonzo Brickhouse and Joe McPherson, son Alfonzo Bickhouse Jr., brother Kenneth Eugene Riddick, sister-in-law, Lydia Riddick, niece Erica Riddick, and nephew Devonne Edward Adams.

Ora Mae leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Katie McInnis (Fred Simmons), Janice McInnis (Antonio), and Marquita Lofton (Shelton); grandchildren DeAngelo, Kanisha, Demond, Andaron, Niya, Shelton Jr., Mario, Priscilla, Adrian, Latasha, Chyna, James III, Denzel, and Jaquan; sisters, Syvella Riddick, Ruth Adams, Cynthia Smith, Darlene Bell; brother George Riddick Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, JAnuary 25, 2022 at Greater Mt.  Zion Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from  at 5pm until 7pm Monday, January 24, 2022 Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
