Pastor Julius Burchette, passed on September 26, 2016. He was a native of Manson, North Carolina, and was the son of the late Charlie and Edith Burchette.

Pastor Burchette was a retired Command Master Chief in the Navy for 21 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Dr. Sharon Burchette, and four children. Pastor Burchette loved God, his family, and friends. He was the pastor of Faith in Action Ministries, Inc.

The memorial service will be held at 6 pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home in Chesapeake. The funeral will be held at 12 noon Friday at Cathedral of Faith COGIC in Chesapeake.
