Patricia Moore Cooper, 67, of the 1000 block of Tivoli Crescent departed this life August 4, 2012. Born in Portsmouth, she was employed with the Virginia Beach School System until her retirement. She was a former member of Fourth Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Willie "P.J." Cooper, Jr. and Leonard Cooper of Ypsilanti, MI, Terence Cooper, Teresa Cooper and Timothy Cooper all of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren, Mikail Jeter, Savaayah Cooper, Zion Freeman, Leiland Cooper, Janiya Cooper, Mariah Cooper, and Aaron Cooper; two sisters, Margaret Moore Davenport of Glen Burnie, MD and Joyce Moore Gray of Salt Lake , Utah , and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held noon Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. Viewing will be held Wednesday from 3pm – 5pm at the funeral home. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
