Patricia Nell Hunt Pretlow gained her heavenly wings as the sun rose on March 19, 2021. Patricia was born in Richmond, Virginia to Lily Hunt Alexander and Paul Hunt. She attended Virginia Union University - undergrad and the University of Virginia – graduate.

She was employed with the Chesapeake Public School System for 30 years as an elementary school educator and administrator.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Ralph Pretlow Jr.  She leaves to cherish her beloved memories, four children Patricia Pretlow-Strickland (Gregory), Ralph Pretlow, lll (Andrea), Stephanie Pretlow- Thweatt , and Roderick Pretlow (Dia) and s ix grandchildren . She also leaves behind a host of relatives and friends.

The family will have a private graveside interment at Roselawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Glen Allen, VA on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
