Paul Everett Wilson, 76, of Portsmouth, Virginia, transitioned on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.

Paul was born in Chesapeake, Virginia (West Munden) on December 24, 1944. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School, Class of 1963, and enlisted in the US Army shortly thereafter. He served in the US Army from 1963-1967. Paul held several jobs prior to starting a career with C&P Telephone Company (Verizon) where he retired.

He was a member of St. Joseph AMEZ Churfch. Paul enjoyed being a faithful Dallas Cowboy fan, fishing, dancing, listening to music, espicially "the P. Funk" and spirituals by James Cleveland, and spending time with his children and other family members. He was also a Past Master and member of Providence Masonic Lodge #189 in West Munden.

Paul is precededin death by his second wife, Armetis Gordon Wilson, his father, Mr. George E. Wilson, and mother, Mrs. Catherine Anderson Wilson.

Paul is survived by his children, son, Keith B. Wilson, and a daughter,LaTonya A. Wilson,and their mother Carolyn McGuire Wilson (1st Wife) of Portsmouth, VA: his brothers and sisters, George Wilbert Wilson (Eunice) Lusby, MD; Phyllis Wilson Scott (Benjamin) Chesapeake, VA; Judy L. Cooper (Joseph) Upper Marlboro, MD; Oliver R. Wilson, Washington, DC; and Arleen A. Wilson, Clinton, MD; one aunt Dorothy Mae Wilson Morris, host of nieces, nepews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
