Pearline Navada Graciee Harris Hines, a resident of Norfolk, VA passed away on Monday, December 3, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Lillian Mercile Smith-Harris-Nicoles and Booker T. Harris. She was born November 13, 1929. She was married to the late Leland E. Hines for fifty-five years. She was employed by Obici formerly known as DePaul Hospital for over twenty-eight years. She started out in Housekeeping, and later was promoted to X-Ray Technician.

In 1993 Pearl retired, and started her next adventure as Missionary for Salvation Army and facilitator for Noonday Bible study; where she and the late Reverend Patterson taught for 10-15 years. Pearl immersed herself in the word of God. Wherever she went she was sure to witness her faith to others. She was a lover of God and of family. She consistently spoke of keeping family together.

She was preceded not only by her parents but her siblings, Geraldine DeBerry, Pathenia Brown and Lawrence Harris. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and other loved ones.

Services are being officiated by Pretlow and Son. The service will be at Greater St. Andrew AME, 3008 MacDonald Rd., Va. Beach, VA, on December 10, 2024 at 11:00 am. The viewing will be at 10:00 am.
