Chesapeake – Rhea Holmes Weaver, 67, of the 2600 block of Cedar Road died June 23, 2008 in Chesapeake General Hospital . Rhea was born to the late Hilda West and Clarence Holmes. She was reared by her grandparents the late Lula and Fred West in Norfolk . She was an elementary school teacher for Norfolk Public Schools for over 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of Fellowship United Church of Christ, Chesapeake where Rev. Lilton Marks is Pastor.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Sean C. Weaver and Nicholas T. Weaver (Joan), both of Chesapeake ; Raymond Weaver (Barbara) father, Portsmouth , four grandchildren, Kayla , Israel , Gabriel, and Solomon and a host of relatives and friends.
