Chesapeake –Robert Bart Parks, 86, of 1300 block of Keaton Way departed this life Friday August 19, 2011. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was a graduate of Norfolk State University; and was employed at Lenox Terrace Housing Development until his retirement. He was a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Virginia Parks. He is survived by two daughters, Juanita Maggie Smith of Chesapeake and Yvette Sharon Perkins (Calvin) of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; two sons, Kevin Cedric Parks(Evaletta)of Fayetteville, North Carolina and William Parks of Jamaica, New York; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 718 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
