Obituary
Chesapeake - Ruby Lee "Sug" Artis, 87, of the 2300 block of Strawberry Lane departed this life on February 17, 2015 in her residence. Sug was preceded in death by her only child Beatrice Artis. She was born in Capron, Virginia. Sug is survived by a sister Mary Lewis, a brother Herbert Artis, a stepbrother Sylvester Artis, and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at First Baptist Church Money Point. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday 4pm-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
