Norfolk - Ruth Mae Fuller Reid (Poopie) was called into eternal rest on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at her residence, 1700 block of Goodman Street, Norfolk, after a brief illness. She was born on June 22, 1922 to the late Benjamin and Susie Fuller.



She was a member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church for over 65 years, where she sang in various choirs.



She will be missed by many people who loved her dearly. She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Ruth Mae Vollin (Gene), and Margaret Bonner; two sisters, Flossie Branchcomb (Charles) and Ann Walker; one brother, Earl Fuller; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three great- great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A celebration of life services will be held on Tuesday at noon at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday from 2pm-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
