Ruthie Evelyn McNair Wallace passed peacefully away on July, 17, 2017.  She was predeceased by parents Joseph and Norma McNair, her husband of 54 years, Rudolph A. Wallace and her sisters Ruby Garfield, Clara Leach and Eula Lankford. Survivors are, her  sons Rudolph A. Wallace, Jr. (Mona) of Hampton , VA, Anthony Wallace (Samantha) of Naperville, IL, Carl T. Wallace (Theresa) of Wichita, KS, and daughter  Carol L. Wallace of Fort Washington, MD; sister Norma Rich of Glen Dale, MD;  brother Joseph McNair of Virginia Beach, VA;  sisters-in-law Leatrice Candies of Oakland , CA and Thelma Wilson of Norfolk, VA.; five grandchildren, seven great  grandchildren and  a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 at St. Mark United Church of Christ, 521 Obendorfer Road, Norfolk, VA 23523 . The family will meet and greet friends from 4-7pm Friday, July 21, 2017 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
