Obituary
Virginia Beach - Sarah Lee Owens, 93, of the 1900 block of Popes Head Arch departed this life June 13, 2007. Born in Norfolk, she is predeceased by her daughter Doris Scott and daughter-in-law, Barbara Jean Owens.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Headley of New York, sons, John H. Owens of New York and Norman C. Owens of Virginia Beach, twenty-seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, 2587 Campostella Road, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Sunday from 12pm - 5pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
