Obituary
Norfolk - Shirley departed this earthly life and entered into eternal life on Saturday evening, October 27, 2007. Shirley was born on November 25, 1938 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
She is survived by two daughters, Arnetta Waters (Charles) of Norfolk and Tania Kelley (Aaron) of Milford, Connecticut; two sons, James Galvin, III of Houston, Texas and Vincent Galvin of Atlanta, Georgia; adopted children, Paula Singleton and David Charles (Robin) of Norfolk; two sisters, six brothers, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A homegoing service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at New Discipleship Worship Cathedral. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held
2pm - 7pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where the family will meet-and-greet friends from 6pm - 7 pm.
