Obituary
Norfolk - Shirley Maxine Dunston, 74, of the 2800 block of Bapaume Ave., entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 19, 2015.
Ms. Dunston was a member of the Deaf Baptist Chapel, a mission of Temple Baptist Church Norfolk, VA, where she worshipped faithfully.
She is survived by her son, Melvin G. Forrest, Sr. (Laini) of Woodbridge, VA; one brother, Joe T. Dunston (Evelyn) of Newark, NJ; two sisters, Rosa L. Jefferson (James) of Newark, NJ and Dr. Georgia M. Dunston of Silver Spring, MD; two grandsons, Melvin, Jr. and Brenden; five nieces, two nephews, and a host of grand nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday, June 29, 2015; viewing at 10:00 am and service 11:00 am at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, VA. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
