Shirley Elizabeth Lucas was called home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling F. Lucas, Sr. She leaves to cerish her memory, two daughters, Sandra Clark and Frances Riddick, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Thomas AME Zion Church, 1700 Melon Street, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
