Chesapeake – Shirley Ann Royster Braswell, 75, of the 1900 block of Robert Hall Blvd., departed this life April 5, 2009. Born in Norfolk, she was a member of First Baptist Church Campostella, where she served on the Missionary Board.

She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Braswell. Survivors include three daughters, Sharon L. Harrington and Deborah Johnson (William) of Norfolk, and Yvonne White (Jepheth) of New Jersey; four sons, Phillip J. Royster (Mildred) and Bruce M. Royster of Chesapeake, Earl T. Royster of Norfolk and Keith L. Royster (Stepanie) of Flordia; one brother, Ervin E. Royster; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, a special and devoted friend, James Wilkins of Virginia Beach, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
