Virginia Beach - Stacy Renee Corbin Williams went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, October 31, 2009. She was born September 19, 1958, to the late Edward and Peggy Corbin in Auburn Vermont, where she was the first African- American child to be born in that city. After moving to several cities during her childhood, the family settled in Teaneck, New Jersey, where she graduated from Teaneck High School. She later graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After a successful career in fashion design, Stacy and her husband relocated to Virginia Beach, where she opened the popular soul food establishment, Angel's Food Restaurant, in Virginia Beach on Holland Road.

She leaves behind her husband, Tyrone F. Williams, her brother Clinton Corbin, her niece, Nichole Corbin, and mother-in-law Helen L. Williams. She also leaves to cherish her loving memory an aunt and uncle, Phyllis and Norman Lane ,an uncle, Edward Moses, and godparents, Lewis and Peggy Gaskins, all of Pennsylvania and a beloved cousin, Melanie Lane, of Maryland, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Enoch Baptist Church, 5641 Herbert Moore Road, Virginia Beach, Virginia, 23462.
