On Sunday, March 27, 2022, Tameisha LaShaun Goode-Rogers of Cheapeake, Virginia gained her angel wings at the age of 40. Tameisha affectionately known as "Tee" was born in Killeen, Texas on April 4, 1981 to Gary and Quintelia Goode.

Tameisha attended Chesapeake Public Schools and graduated from Indian River High School in 1999. Upon graduation, she attended Norfolk State University and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was enrolled in the final courses of her Master's Degree program in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. Tameisha had found her passion in teaching Special Education. She taught at Larrymore Elementary in Norfolk Public Schools. She found much pleasure in working hard to ensure her students met all their milestones.

Tameisha has two beautiful daughters that she adored, Jaelynn and Skylar. She was always with her daughters creating life-long memories and constantly praising them for their accomplishments. She would ALWAYS say that her girls "were her biggest accomplshments in life." She loved nature, so the three of them would enjoy hiking, biking, long walks on the beach and trying new restaurants!

Tameisha loved her family and friends. When she was around she was always, laughing, smiling, and dancing. Aside from spending time with her family, Tameisha enjoyed her special moments with her circle of friends. Tameisha was known for being a free spirit, having a calm demeanor, having a giving heart, being a phenomenal daughter, sister, mom, and friend! She was truly loved by many. To know Tee meant you loved Tee!

Tameisha was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents,  Barbara Ann Goode-Thompson and Orlando Garfield Goode, Sr., as well as her maternal grandfather, Richard Andrew Haynes. She is survived by her daughetrs, Jaelynn and Skylar, her loving parents, Gary and Quin Goode, her spouse, Roland Rogers, Jr., her bonus children, Erron and Emani Cook, her sister, Kimberlie Reid, her niece, Kennedy, two nephews, Rion and Jayden, her Grandmother, Louise Haynes, her "Aunt Flo", Lora Franklin, her "brothers" Anwan Reid, Joseph and Jonathan Franklin, her uncle Avis Haynes (Ouida), her "Best Friend", Candice Fredrick, and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

A walking ray of sunshine who filled our lives with vibrance and warmth, Tameisha will be desperately missed by those she left behind.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Union Baptist Church, 4608 South Blvd, Virginia Beach. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be on Friday, April 8, 2022 from 5pm until 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
