Thelma Wallace Wilson answered the Lord's call and peacefully transitioned to her heavenly home on October 3, 2022. She was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia. Thelma was educated in the Norfolk Public School System. After graduating from high school, Thelma continued her education ending up as a Teacher's Assistant at her beloved alma mater – Booker T. Washington. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Berkley.

Thelma was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Norman Wilson; and her siblings, Rudolph Wallace, Reginald Wallace, Irvin Wallace, Lorraine Clark and Johnnie Mae Wallace. Thelma leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Tracie Wallace; grandchildren, Antonio Wallace, Montrell Wallace, and Tiffany Wallace; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Green, Toni Wallace, Marcus Wood, Tranasia Wallace, and Montrell Wallace, Jr; her sister, Leatrice Candies; her adopted daughter, Renee Wilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at First Baptist Church, Berkley. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.Viewing will be held from 5pm until 7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
