Thomas R. Davis, 67, son of Texas and Naomi Davis departed this life on July 4, 2015. He was born December 4, 1947 in Chesapeake, Virginia. "Big Feet" as he was affectionately known by family and friends was so called because of his speed in athletics. He loved and participated in many sports; football, basketball and softball were his favorites.

Thomas was a graduate of George Washington Carver High of Chesapeake, Virginia and an Army Veteran. He leaves to cherish his devoted wife of 44 years Sandra L. Davis; one daughter Kimberly Davis; one grand-daughter Ka'Daisha Davis; and 14 siblings (one brother "Swahelee" preceded him in death).

He accepted Jesus as his savior later in life, guaranteeing him eternal life with Christ. Those of us who have done the same will be reunited with him one day. Blessed are those who die in the Lord "Absent from the body, present with the lord". 2 Corinthians 5:6-9

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church, 1700 Melon Street, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery, 5310 Milners Road, Suffolk. Viewing will be Thursday from 3-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
