Travis Sentell Lewis was born on March 14, 1979 to Betty Lewis and the late Lee Earnest Christian Jr, in Chesapeake, Virginia. He was called home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2021. Travis was raised in Chesapeake, Virginia on Silvertown Ave and Longridge Road. He attended Chesapeake Public Schools and obtained his GED in 1997. Travis was a jack of all trades working in the field as a pipefitter, welder, and security guard.

Travis affectionally known to family and friends as "Boomboy" and "Waaba", was full of laughs and wanting to have a good time amongst family and friends. Travis was an avid Washington football fan, trash talking spades player, and lover of music. You would often hear Travis coming through the neighborhood before even he got to your house. Travis had a love for kids especially his niece Ashlynn whom he loved to call his "Stink" as well as Bryce, Jay, the twins Landon and London and his "daughter" Taylor Goodnight.

Travis is predeceased by his father Lee Earnest Christian Jr., paternal grandparents Earnest Sr. and Marion Jones Christian and maternal grandfather Isaac Spence.

He leaves to cherish his mother Betty J. Lewis, sister Ashley Lewis, brothers Lavar Wiggins and Kwaine Lewis. Maternal grandmother Mary Spence. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

Travis will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved him.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 1101 Campostella Road, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held from 5pm until 7pm Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake.
