Tyrone Draughan departed this life on Sunday, June 19, 2022. He was preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Draughan, and his father Linwood Lucas. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia on January 21, 1960.

Tyrone attended Oscar Smith High School, where he exceled in wrestling and football. He was a graduate of Great Bridge High School, and from there he became his own boss as a self-employed contractor. He learned to do some of everything in that field and was good at it.

Tyrone was full of life and enjoyed his family and friends throughout his life's journey. He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly.

Tyrone is survived by his son Tyrone Verioed Gibson; two grandchildren JaShawn Godley and Jaquin Godley; two brothers, Keith Wilson and Terry Wilson; one sister Trena Couch and her husband Leon Couch; three aunts Patsy Edison, Sylvia White, and Mildred Lucas; two uncles Alfred Lucas, and Thomas Lucas and, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tueday, June 28, 2022at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. View ing will be held from 5pm until 7pm, Monday, June 27, 2022 at the funeral home.
