Chesapeake – Una Patricia Grant, 73, of the 1900 block of Gatewood Ct. departed this life June 13, 2008 . Born in New York , she was a teacher with the New York School System for over 20 years until her retirement in 1994. She was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a member of the NCNW (New York Council of Negro Women).

She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Grant of Chesapeake , son, David A. Grant (Arlene) of California ; granddaughter, Tiffany Grant, nephews, Keith and Leman, and a host of relatives and friends.
