Virginia Beach
– Vandelia Sanderson, 75, of the 900 block of Whitehurst Landing Road departed this life May 4, 2009. Born in Virginia Beach, she was a devoted wife.
She is survived by her husband, Matthew Sanderson of Virginia Beach, five daughters, two sons, seven sisters, two brothers, fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held 2 pm – 7 pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
