Virginia Beach - Walter McKoy, affectionately known as "Trump", peacefully departed our earthly realm on Sunday, June 3, 2007. Born in Maxton, N.C., he was the son of Gaston and Sadie McKoy. He served in the US Navy during WWII; after his Honorable Discharge, he pursued a career in radiology at Bronx Lebanon Hospital until retiring in 1992 and moving his family to Virginia Beach.



He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Joan, children: Denise, Walter Jr., Craig, Joe, Mark, Dan and Andrea, along with their significant others; grandchildren: Corey, Kimberly, Briana, Maya, Henry, Fernando, Lindsey and Evan; one great-grandchild; Josiah; his only surviving brother Lawrence McKoy of New Rochelle, NY and host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1pm in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 2pm - 7pm at the funeral home.
