Obituary
Chesapeake - Weslie " Sugarlump" Griffin, 62, departed this life October 21, 2012. Born in Chesapeake, he was employed as a Head Custodian with the Chesapeake Public Schools for 34 years. He was a member of New Galilee Baptist Church, where he served on the Male Usher Board and sang in the Senior Choir.
He is survived by his wife Annie Rosetta Griffin and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Saturday at New Galilee Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
