On September 12,2020 "Billy" William H. McKenney, Jr., was called home to be with the lord. Born to Margret and William McKenney Sr., he was predeceased by a sister Ada Davis and his brothers Theodore "Teddy" McKenney, and Melvin McKenney.  Billy was also predeceased by the love of his life Rose Marie McKenney, and their daughter Theodora "Robin" Norvell.

Billy leaves behind his sisters Kathy Spank, Margret "Peggy"Combs, and Mary Hertzler; brothers Edward McKenney, Joey Mckenney and Jimmy McKenney; five sons William McKenney III, Edward McKenney, Charles McKenney Sr., Mark McKenney Sr., and Steven McKenney; nineteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, nd a host of relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2020 from 6:30pm until 8pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. A graveside service will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at noon.
