Chesapeake – William Henry Nichols, 76, of the 1500 block of Candlelight Drive departed this life October 27, 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Marie J. Nichols; three daughters, Phyllis A. Simmons (Fred) of North Carolina, Cynthia R. Cooper (George) of Virginia Beach and Lisa Mayfield of Norfolk; two sons, Kenneth D. Royster, Sr. (Monita) of Chesapeake and Nathaniel Jones (Marjorie) of Norfolk; one brother, Joseph Lee Nichols of Norfolk; a special friend, Ann Walker; fourteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will held noon Monday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held Sunday from 12-5pm at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 4 -5pm.
