Obituary
Chesapeake
– William C. Terry, Sr., 68, of 2600 block of Berkley Avenue, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2009.
Born in Raleigh, N.C., he was the son of the late Andrew Terry and Eva Terry. William will be remembered for his ability to make others laugh. He was also a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sarah L. Terry; five children, William C. Terry, Jr. of Chesapeake, Ralph Bond of Atlanta, GA, Ervin Bond of Norfolk, Loretta Williams of Chesapeake and Janice Baum of Suffolk, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at New Mt. Olive A.M.E. Church, 1953 Campostella Road, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Friday from 2 pm – 7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeke.
