Obituary
Chesapeake - William Atlas Staley of the 400 block of Clemson Avenue departed this life on September 20, 2012. Born in Hillsboro, North Carolina, he was a Brickmason until his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Will and Lola Staley. Survivors include his wife, Annie Baldwin Staley, and stepdaughter, Dr. Dorothy M. Burnett of Chesapeake, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Entombment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
