Willie A. Jennette, Jr. departed this life on January 18, 2013. Andy is the son of Willie Jennette, Sr. and Barbara Vickers Jennette.

He was preceded in going home by his maternal grandparents, Leon Vickers Sr., Earline Gregg Vickers and Ernestine Ellerbe Vickers; paternal grandparents Charlie Leroy and Ida Boone Jennette; uncles, Leon Jr. and Thomas Vickers, Leroy Jennette Jr. and aunt, Gale Jennette.

Survivors include his maternal uncle Johnny Vickers(Maureen); aunts, Pastor Helen V. Johnson, Brenda M. Burford, Shirley Parker Vickers, and Lourena Miles Sawyer (Johnny); paternal aunts and uncles, Chester Jennette (Connie);great aunt Blanche Boone; aunt A. Barbara J. Whitaker; uncles, Joseph, Jones (Daun), Rudolph, Carlton (Amanda), William (Linda), Thomas, James (Ellen) , Mary J. Davis, Blanche Jennette; aunt, Fabra Eley (Dwight Sr.; aunt, Bonnie S. Young (Wesley) and uncle, W.S. (Pete) Spruill (Marilyn); uncle Edward Cowell (Annette), and a host of relatives and friends.

Home-going services for Willie A. Jennette Jr. will be held Friday, January 25, 11am, at First Baptist Church Campostella,1510 Conoga Street, Norfolk, Pastor Tyrone Jackson Jr., officiating. Interment will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Thursday from 3-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street Chesapeake, where the family will receive friends from 6-7pm.
